Our Promise to you

Do you know what an end-of-life doula does?

These are some of the ways we can help

Whole Person Empowerment & Support

Advanced Care Planning Support

Co-Create a Peaceful Environment

Educate, Guide & Co-Create a Plan for Your Dying Time

It is with a deep, loving respect, that we support you physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. You are a whole person and will be treated as such. This includes comfort measures for pain management, holding space for grief, guiding you through the impending changes and limitations, and facilitating meaningful conversations with those you love. Legacy projects are another way that we can help. The possibilities are endless. What you dream, you can have.

Wills, Power of Attorney for Personal Care, Do Not Resuscitate Order, MAID Planning, Pre-death Celebrations of Life,  Funeral Planning, Home Viewing and Home Funerals, Planning for Cremation and the resting place for the Cremains, Exploring Eco Burials

Through an in depth discovery process, determine what would bring peace or joy or love to your dying space. Simple things like flowers, music, special items, family photos are a tremendous help. There are many tools and techniques that can contribute to the serenity of your inner being (herbal teas, essential oils, drumming, singing). Things that bring comfort to you can create a cherished and loving memory for loved ones to hold in their hearts.

Who would you like to be present? Where would you like to spend your dying time? How would you like to be cared for and talked to and touched? What is important to you before, during and after your death. Are there rituals and ceremonies that you would like to create or use?  Will you require bedside vigil?

The word odemin means strawberry in Ojibwe language. The root word is ode which means heart. The strawberry teaches us about love, leadership and community care"
